1) Restore you Iphone
-Once you get to the Screen or the activate phone screen, Close iTunes.

you are most likely screw(like i was), i suggest you to find a machine with windows XP, if
anyone knows how to make Carnaval Work with windows vista, send me a tell please.

-Press hold
-Your phone will ring again but this time decline the call This will Send you to the Contacts Screen.
-Add a Contact With 2 URLS:
1) prefs://1f
2) http://jailbreak.toc2rta.com (if that doesnt work try this http://jailbreak.kengz.com)

-Now do the *#307# to get into the contact Screen Again
-Tap your contact, and select the URL2 http://jailbreak.toc2rta.com, this will launch Safari
it will open the page and close automatically sending you to the activate iphone screen.

-Update installer:

- Install BSD subsystem:
Launch Installer -> All packages -> and search for BSD Subsystem
Reboot
-Install OpenSSH:
-Launch installer --> All packages-> and install "Comunity Sources"
Now Scrolldown to System---> OpenSHH
Reboot

MEGA GUIDE-WINXP/VISTA Jailbreak-Unlock-Activate-YouTube Iphones 1.1.1
This looks long but this is as far as I know the easiest guide for windows out there (at the moment)
BASICALLY IT IS JUST 4 STEPS (for a new iphone 1.1.1): You can try other methods but you learn more about your iphone here.
1. Prepare TIFF exploit (just create a contact with 2 urls)
2. JAILBREAK (just run touchFree)
3. UNLOCK (just upload AnySIM and execute it)
4. ACTIVATE (just upload one file)
for youtube 1 more STEP (upload 3 files)
Ok. So after watching the ULTIMATE TUTORIAL for WINDOWS thread grow till its 85 page (849 posts).Filled with the same questions again and again.. questions that had been answered before but people as just too lazy to read or even search in the thread (YES, there is an option for that).
I have decided to rewrite vomer tutorial (there were some not so clear steps) and update it with new information gathered from the experiences of the people in that thread and my own experiences. It looks long but only because everything is detailed.
What we got now is a tutorial with LESS steps. If you can’t succeed now… then wait till someone else make a just one click application that does it all.
Also some netiquette advice or I may close this thread:
1. BEFORE POSTING A QUESTION BE SURE IT HASN’T BEEN ANSWERED ALREADY!!
2. Use the “Search in this thread” option.
3. Make sure the question is related to the subject of this thread. If not search for another thread or start a new one. There is also the internet out there (Google?)
4. Even if the thread gets to be 100 pages long. Hopefully it won’t. Search. Then read the first 15 pages because chances are that the most common problems appear at the beguining. And then go and read the last 5 before you make a new post.
5. When you make a question give as much details as possible (like Operative System,…)
6. Use your brains a little. We all have one!

You need to be able to read. I mean it seriously!! (This is not youtube, this doesn’t have pictures)

Just kidding… but maybe you should wait for an easier solution.
I don’t think this is hard if you pay attention.
You must have never ever unlocked your iphone before (I mean before AnySIM for 1.1.1 arrived).
You could have jailbreaked it … you can have a firmware previous to 1.1.1 .. You could have already updated to 1.1.1… but you must have never mesed up with your Baseband (the modem firmware).
[OK, for more information take a look at this Guideline for upgrading to 1.1.1 and have it unlocked.
[OK, I am not sure at all it this could work in other cases or revirginazed iphones. I guess it should for revirginazed if that means really a clean starting state. DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK. You need Wi-fi for this method to work. FULL STOP.
You need a computer running windows. I used XP with Service Pack 2. No idea about VISTA but it should work (there are some tips for that).
And ,yes, you need an iPhone.
STARTING:
PLEASE, PLEASE READ THE WHOLE TUTORIAL AND THE POST WITH THE F.A.Q. BEFORE EVEN STARTING WITH YOUR IPHONE.
DOWNLOADS (you need to uncompress the compressed files of course, no zip/rar goes into the iphone):

Install: iTunes, WinSCP, the .NET Framework v3.0 and TouchFree.

LET’S GO! (It is much easier than what it looks)
0. Put the AT&T SIM card inside the iphone (recommended) or you can use any SIM card as long as it doesn't require a PIN code to use it, you can disable the PIN in your actual mobile phone
[EDIT: is being reported the following by luigidelgado: "DOES NOT HAVE TO BE AN AT&T SIM, THAT IS INCORRECT I DONT HAVE AT&T IN MY COUNTRY. PLACE WHATEVER SIM YOU USE FROM WHATEVER CARRIER, BUT DONT REMOVE DURING THE WHOLE PROCESS"]
1. MAKE SURE YOUR IPHONE HAS THE CORRECT MODEM FIRMWARE:
1.1. Go to Emergency call and dial *3001#12345#*
1.2. On the Field Test page click versions. Firmware version should be 04.01.13_G (if not well, we are going to upgrade in Step 2, come back and check after that)
2. RESTORE YOUR IPHONE OR UPDATE TO 1.1.1: [EDIT: If you just opened a brand new iphone and you are sure it is 1.1.1 you can skip this part]
[NOTE:RESTORE IS NOT VIRGINIZE]
Use the DFU method:
Connect the iPhone to computer with USB cable. Probably iTunes will start. [You can switch off iTunes if you want to]
The iphone must be switched ON. Don't switch it off (don't do the slide power off)
Hold down the Power and Home buttons until you hear the disconnect tone (that is the two tone sequence indicating that a USB device has disconnected).
Then release the power button and continue holding the home button until you hear a quick pair of connect and disconnect tones, then release the home button. Then start iTunes (if it wasn't running) it will detect an Iphone that needs to be restored. click OK.
Then Press Shift key on the computer while you click on restore. It will show you a window to select the firmware.
Select the 1.1.1 you downloaded before. Let it restore/upgrade.
3. PREPARING THE EXPLOIT (We are just going to create one contact with two URL addresses):
3.1 Slide to reach the emergency dial screen
3.2 enter *#307# and then press call
3.3 Delete the #*307# and then press 0. After that press the call button you are seeing and it will show you the answer/decline buttons.Click answer.
3.4 Press hold now and your phone will start ringing again
3.5 Press Dismiss.Will go into the contacts/dial screen
3.6 Press contacts from the bottom bar and add a contact
3.7 Add a contact with a random name and write in "Add newURL": prefs://1F [Thanks idutch for the idea!!]
3.8 Add a second URL for that contact.Add the address as : http://jailbreak.toc2rta.com/ [Seems to be down: this is an alternative: http://jailbreak.kengz.com ]
3.9 Save it and click on the contact's FIRST homepage.This will take you straight into the setting menu of the iPhone, and you can take all the time to select a WIFI network!
3.10 Write down the IP address of the iPhone.
4. JAILBREAKING (just going to run TouchFree):
If you followed every step iphone should still be connected with the cable and itunes running.
4.0 Make SURE that the iPhone is recognised by iTunes right before using touchFree.
4.1 Start TouchFree (the version you installed previously (that is the NON-alpha version).
4.2 Do what it says (using Task Manager (ctrl-alt-delete) end ITunes.exe, iTunesHelper.exe and iPodService.exe And nothing else!)
4.3 Go to the contact you created on your iphone and click on the SECOND url. That will open Safari.
4.4 Safari will start loading the page and then close automatically (it should take about 5 seconds) to the home screen (the screen that says activate iphone).
[IF THAT DOESN’T HAPPEN CHECK YOUR WIFI IS CONNECTED, ALSO IT COULD BE THE WEBSITE IS DOWN OR BUSY. KEEP TRYING OR TRY LATER. DON’T CONTINUE IF YOU DON’T SUCCEED. Another good tip here: http://hackint0sh.org/forum/showpost...40&postcount=5]
4.5 FOLLOW TOUCHFREE ON SCREEN INSTRUCTIONS THROUGHOUT THE PROCCESS.Restarting when indicated and clicking to continue after restaring ONLY when the iPhone shows the "Activate Iphone" welcome screen.
[Step 2 took me 4 minutes. Step 3, 1 minute. Step 4, 1 minute.]
4.6 When TouchFree finishes you must be able to access the SpringBoard (that is the icons on your iphone) if not, Restart the iphone again. JAILBREAK SUCCESS!!
A message could pop on the iphone screen: “Waiting for activation.This may take some time" [That is a good sign, if not it doesn’t matter]. Click on Dismiss.
4.7 GO TO STEP 5.
[WHAT IF it didn’t work for you: Some people reported TouchFree getting Stuck!!.
For all of those:
[EDIT] Is your iphone connected through USB hub?Connect directly to PC.
Go to TouchFree website: http://www.slovix.com/touchfree/

Or you can try the alpha version of TouchFree (http://www.slovix.com/touchfree/touchfree-alpha.exe )
BUT BEFORE INSTALLING, UNINSTALL the other TouchFree and then go to c:\Program Files\touchFree and delete manually everything. NOW GO BACK TO STEP 2 (YES, restore the iphone).Then follow STEP 3. Then STEP 4 with TouchFree alpha. In this case in 4.5 it is just Step 2 (took me 4 min 10 seconds).
After 4.6, the alpha requires extra steps:
4.7 Go to Installer on Springboard.
4.8 Go to Uninstall. Can see OpenSSH is not installed. Neither BSD Subsystem. Community sources is installed.
4.9 Install BSD subsystem first: 2min30seg [Remember this] [If "Package download failed" PROBLEM? Try the BSD Subsystem (Alt.Repo.) if that fails too, GO TO F.A.Q.]
4.10 Install OpenSSH: 1min10seg
4.11 GO TO STEP 5.
5. UNLOCKING (we are just going to upload AnySIM into the Iphone and run it): [REMEMBER: AnySIM 1.1 unlocking survives restoring and iphone from 1.1.1 to 1.1.1. (We don't know about future upgrades]
5.0 Set auto-lock on your phone as "never" (on your iphone: Settings > General >
Auto-Lock > Never)
5.1 Start WinSCP. Host name: (put the iPhone IP address).
Port number: 22, User name: root, Password: alpine
File protocol: SFTP (uncheck Allow SCP fallback)
Click login (the first time takes more time).
WinSCP will show a panel (on the left your computer, on the right your iPhone)
[IF IT DOESN’T CONNECT: Check the wifi on the iPhone is working. Check the computer connection (ping the ip address of the iphone). Of course computer and iphone must be on the same subnet. Check no firewall or security is blocking WinCP. Check the password again, check you didn’t use capital letters. And finally check OpenSSH is running on the iPhone (you can go to the installer on the iphone and install the services application. Then click on the services app and check ssh is on)]
5.2 On the iPhone panel click on the .. folder till you get to the top of the tree.
5.3 [In winSCP] Upload AnySIM.app folder to the /Applications folder (Make sure both the folder anySim.app and the file inside that folder named anysim have permission set to 0755)
[You upload by dragging and dropping from the left to the right panel. When you drop, a window pops up where you can set permissions.Check “Set permissions”.Click … Look for octal ]
5.4 Restart your iphone.
5.5 Insert your new SIM card. [Maybe you could use the AT&T but I did with my own one] If a pop up says locked it is because you need to enter the PIN number for your card. Do it.
5.6 On your iPhone screen. Click AnySIM 1.1. It should end up saying it unlocked the iPhone. BUT it also may say it couldn’t unlock. It could be because you used AnySIM 1.1 before but you don’t remember and your phone is already unlocked. Anyway go on and continue.
5.7 Restart your iPhone. UNLOCK SUCCESS!!
6. ACTIVATING (we are just going to upload one file in the iphone): [NEW METHOD]
6.0 DOWNLOAD THIS FILE AND UNZIP: http://rapid$hare.com/files/63822007/lockdownd.zip [replace the $ with an s]
6.1 WinSCP connect again to iPhone.
6.2 [In winSCP] Rename the file called lockdownd on your /usr/libexec folder to lockdownd.back
6.3 [In winSCP] Upload the lockdownd file you just downloaded in 6.0 to /usr/libexec !!!Set permissions to 0755!!! to the file.
6.4 Restart your IPhone. This time it will take longer to start [about 2 minutes] Message pops up on iphone screen: "iPhone is activated". [ACTIVATION DONE] ENJOY!! Now you can swap SIM cards.
The message may not appear..or it may take longer or it may have appear earlier. The important thing is the phone won't complain and your phone carrier will appear in the top-left corner if the unlocking with ANYsim went fine.
[WHAT IF activation didn’t work … well .. some people say this method didn’t work for them. I tried three times and it worked. You can go to the end of this post and try the old method. Others have had success too. PLEASE REPORT. But make sure you followed every step!! Maybe iasign is needed in the end. And I would rewrite this part]

It took me much more than I expected to write this….
7. YOUTUBE (we are just going to upload three files in the iphone):
7.1 Download this http://www.rapid$hare.com/files/5846...utube.zip.html (click on the link and you will get an error, change the $ wih a s and try then)
7.2 Unzip that and using WinSCP upload youtube certificate files (data_ark.plist, device_private_key.pem and device_public_key.pem) to /var/root/Library/Lockdown/ [permision:0644 (defaults)]
7.3 Restart.

6.2 [In winSCP] Upload lockdownds files that were in the unlock111.zip you downloaded at the start to /usr/libexec Set permissions to 0755 to the three files.
6.3 [In winSCP] Rename the file called lockdownd on your /usr/libexec folder to lockdownd.back
6.4 [In winSCP] Rename the file lockdownd.1.0.2 to lockdownd [DON’T forget ends in d]
6.5 [In winSCP] Upload iphoneactivation.pem from \iasign\bin in your computer to /System/Library/Lockdown [The file is 1277k in size permissions:0644]
6.7 [In winSCP] go to Commands->Open Terminal (or just press Control+T).Enter command: killall lockdownd. Click Execute. THEN CLICK CLOSE.
6.8 Message on iphone screen: "iPhone is activated". [ACTIVATION DONE]

You could have jailbreaked it … you can have a firmware previous to 1.1.1 .. You could have already updated to 1.1.1… but you must have never mesed up with your Baseband (the modem firmware).

You need Wi-fi for this method to work. FULL STOP.
You need a computer running windows. I used XP with Service Pack 2. No idea about VISTA but it should work (there are some tips for that).
And ,yes, you need an iPhone.
STARTING:
PLEASE, PLEASE READ THE WHOLE TUTORIAL AND THE POST WITH THE F.A.Q. BEFORE EVEN STARTING WITH YOUR IPHONE.

LET’S GO! (It is much easier than what it looks)
0. Put the AT&T SIM card inside the iphone (recommended) or you can use any SIM card as long as it doesn't require a PIN code to use it, you can disable the PIN in your actual mobile phone
[EDIT: is being reported the following by luigidelgado: "DOES NOT HAVE TO BE AN AT&T SIM, THAT IS INCORRECT I DONT HAVE AT&T IN MY COUNTRY. PLACE WHATEVER SIM YOU USE FROM WHATEVER CARRIER, BUT DONT REMOVE DURING THE WHOLE PROCESS"]
1. MAKE SURE YOUR IPHONE HAS THE CORRECT MODEM FIRMWARE:
1.1. Go to Emergency call and dial *3001#12345#*
1.2. On the Field Test page click versions. Firmware version should be 04.01.13_G (if not well, we are going to upgrade in Step 2, come back and check after that)
2. RESTORE YOUR IPHONE OR UPDATE TO 1.1.1: [EDIT: If you just opened a brand new iphone and you are sure it is 1.1.1 you can skip this part]
[NOTE:RESTORE IS NOT VIRGINIZE]
Use the DFU method:
Connect the iPhone to computer with USB cable. Probably iTunes will start. [You can switch off iTunes if you want to]
The iphone must be switched ON. Don't switch it off (don't do the slide power off)
Hold down the Power and Home buttons until you hear the disconnect tone (that is the two tone sequence indicating that a USB device has disconnected).
Then release the power button and continue holding the home button until you hear a quick pair of connect and disconnect tones, then release the home button. Then start iTunes (if it wasn't running) it will detect an Iphone that needs to be restored. click OK.
Then Press Shift key on the computer while you click on restore. It will show you a window to select the firmware.
Select the 1.1.1 you downloaded before. Let it restore/upgrade.
3. PREPARING THE EXPLOIT (We are just going to create one contact with two URL addresses):
3.1 Slide to reach the emergency dial screen
3.2 enter *#307# and then press call
3.3 Delete the #*307# and then press 0. After that press the call button you are seeing and it will show you the answer/decline buttons.Click answer.
3.4 Press hold now and your phone will start ringing again
3.5 Press Dismiss.Will go into the contacts/dial screen
3.6 Press contacts from the bottom bar and add a contact
3.7 Add a contact with a random name and write in "Add newURL": prefs://1F [Thanks idutch for the idea!!]
3.8 Add a second URL for that contact.Add the address as : http://jailbreak.toc2rta.com/ [Seems to be down: this is an alternative: http://jailbreak.kengz.com ]
3.9 Save it and click on the contact's FIRST homepage.This will take you straight into the setting menu of the iPhone, and you can take all the time to select a WIFI network!
3.10 Write down the IP address of the iPhone.
4. JAILBREAKING (just going to run TouchFree):
If you followed every step iphone should still be connected with the cable and itunes running.
4.0 Make SURE that the iPhone is recognised by iTunes right before using touchFree.
4.1 Start TouchFree (the version you installed previously (that is the NON-alpha version).
4.2 Do what it says (using Task Manager (ctrl-alt-delete) end ITunes.exe, iTunesHelper.exe and iPodService.exe And nothing else!)
4.3 Go to the contact you created on your iphone and click on the SECOND url. That will open Safari.
4.4 Safari will start loading the page and then close automatically (it should take about 5 seconds) to the home screen (the screen that says activate iphone).
[IF THAT DOESN’T HAPPEN CHECK YOUR WIFI IS CONNECTED, ALSO IT COULD BE THE WEBSITE IS DOWN OR BUSY. KEEP TRYING OR TRY LATER. DON’T CONTINUE IF YOU DON’T SUCCEED. Another good tip here: http://hackint0sh.org/forum/showpost...40&postcount=5]
4.5 FOLLOW TOUCHFREE ON SCREEN INSTRUCTIONS THROUGHOUT THE PROCCESS.Restarting when indicated and clicking to continue after restaring ONLY when the iPhone shows the "Activate Iphone" welcome screen.
[Step 2 took me 4 minutes. Step 3, 1 minute. Step 4, 1 minute.]
4.6 When TouchFree finishes you must be able to access the SpringBoard (that is the icons on your iphone) if not, Restart the iphone again. JAILBREAK SUCCESS!!
A message could pop on the iphone screen: “Waiting for activation.This may take some time" [That is a good sign, if not it doesn’t matter]. Click on Dismiss.
4.7 GO TO STEP 5.
[WHAT IF it didn’t work for you: Some people reported TouchFree getting Stuck!!.

BUT BEFORE INSTALLING, UNINSTALL the other TouchFree and then go to c:\Program Files\touchFree and delete manually everything. NOW GO BACK TO STEP 2 (YES, restore the iphone).Then follow STEP 3. Then STEP 4 with TouchFree alpha. In this case in 4.5 it is just Step 2 (took me 4 min 10 seconds).
After 4.6, the alpha requires extra steps:
4.7 Go to Installer on Springboard.
4.8 Go to Uninstall. Can see OpenSSH is not installed. Neither BSD Subsystem. Community sources is installed.
4.9 Install BSD subsystem first: 2min30seg [Remember this] [If "Package download failed" PROBLEM? Try the BSD Subsystem (Alt.Repo.) if that fails too, GO TO F.A.Q.]
4.10 Install OpenSSH: 1min10seg
4.11 GO TO STEP 5.
5. UNLOCKING (we are just going to upload AnySIM into the Iphone and run it): [REMEMBER: AnySIM 1.1 unlocking survives restoring and iphone from 1.1.1 to 1.1.1. (We don't know about future upgrades]
5.0 Set auto-lock on your phone as "never" (on your iphone: Settings > General >
Auto-Lock > Never)
5.1 Start WinSCP. Host name: (put the iPhone IP address).
Port number: 22, User name: root, Password: alpine
File protocol: SFTP (uncheck Allow SCP fallback)
Click login (the first time takes more time).
WinSCP will show a panel (on the left your computer, on the right your iPhone)
[IF IT DOESN’T CONNECT: Check the wifi on the iPhone is working. Check the computer connection (ping the ip address of the iphone). Of course computer and iphone must be on the same subnet. Check no firewall or security is blocking WinCP. Check the password again, check you didn’t use capital letters. And finally check OpenSSH is running on the iPhone (you can go to the installer on the iphone and install the services application. Then click on the services app and check ssh is on)]
5.2 On the iPhone panel click on the .. folder till you get to the top of the tree.
5.3 [In winSCP] Upload AnySIM.app folder to the /Applications folder (Make sure both the folder anySim.app and the file inside that folder named anysim have permission set to 0755)
[You upload by dragging and dropping from the left to the right panel. When you drop, a window pops up where you can set permissions.Check “Set permissions”.Click … Look for octal ]
5.4 Restart your iphone.
5.5 Insert your new SIM card. [Maybe you could use the AT&T but I did with my own one] If a pop up says locked it is because you need to enter the PIN number for your card. Do it.
5.6 On your iPhone screen. Click AnySIM 1.1. It should end up saying it unlocked the iPhone. BUT it also may say it couldn’t unlock. It could be because you used AnySIM 1.1 before but you don’t remember and your phone is already unlocked. Anyway go on and continue.
5.7 Restart your iPhone. UNLOCK SUCCESS!!
6. ACTIVATING (we are just going to upload one file in the iphone): [NEW METHOD]
6.0 DOWNLOAD THIS FILE AND UNZIP: http://rapid$hare.com/files/63822007/lockdownd.zip [replace the $ with an s]
6.1 WinSCP connect again to iPhone.
6.2 [In winSCP] Rename the file called lockdownd on your /usr/libexec folder to lockdownd.back
6.3 [In winSCP] Upload the lockdownd file you just downloaded in 6.0 to /usr/libexec !!!Set permissions to 0755!!! to the file.
6.4 Restart your IPhone. This time it will take longer to start [about 2 minutes] Message pops up on iphone screen: "iPhone is activated". [ACTIVATION DONE] ENJOY!! Now you can swap SIM cards.
The message may not appear..or it may take longer or it may have appear earlier. The important thing is the phone won't complain and your phone carrier will appear in the top-left corner if the unlocking with ANYsim went fine.
[WHAT IF activation didn’t work … well .. some people say this method didn’t work for them. I tried three times and it worked. You can go to the end of this post and try the old method. Others have had success too. PLEASE REPORT. But make sure you followed every step!! Maybe iasign is needed in the end. And I would rewrite this part]

7. YOUTUBE (we are just going to upload three files in the iphone):
7.1 Download this http://www.rapid$hare.com/files/5846...utube.zip.html (click on the link and you will get an error, change the $ wih a s and try then)
7.2 Unzip that and using WinSCP upload youtube certificate files (data_ark.plist, device_private_key.pem and device_public_key.pem) to /var/root/Library/Lockdown/ [permision:0644 (defaults)]
7.3 Restart.

XP/VISTA Jailbreak/Activate/Unlock Virgin OOB iPhones v1.1.1 100% working!

First we need to get to safari:
1. Slide to reach the emergency dial screen
2. enter *#307# and then press call
3. Your phone will ring itself, press answer
4. Press hold now and your phone will start ringing again
5. Press Dismiss and your phone will go into the contacts/dial screen
6. Press contacts from the bottom bar and add a contact (Give it any name and a random URL, www.google.com is a good choice)
7. Now save your contact and then click on the URL, safari will open and say it cannot load the site. press ok
8. This is the crucial part Now press the home button and be ready to really quicky select your wifi network. As soon as you press the home button a small box will come up asking for a network. Choose your network (has to be open network) and if you did it right you will see a wifi signal on top of the iphone.
8a. Leave your phone like that now for a minute or two. Then shut down your iphone and restart.
8b. After the iPhone restarts it should have the Wifi icon showing at the top...if it does not do steps 1 - 8 again. (This is normal, took me 5 tries to get the Wifi)
9. Once the wifi is working, do steps 1 - 5 again.
9a. For the next step add another contact give it another name and this time add the address as >> http://jailbreak.toc2rta.com/
10. Save the contact and then go to the 2nd url you just saved. Safari will load the page and then close automatically to the home screen (the screen that says activate iphone).

- Get Putty from here http://the.earth.li/~sgtatham/putty/.../x86/putty.exe
- Connect to your iPhone using putty (user: root password: alpine)
- Run this command without the quotes "killall lockdownd"
- Extract the iasign folder to your C:/ Drive (That folder can be found in this file >> http://d.turboupload.com/d/2098918/unlock111.zip.html)
- Open a command line in your pc (Start menu > Run > cmd)
- Navigate to the folder where you have iasign.exe (This means you need to point the command prompt to the iasign folder):
- Now run this command from the command line "iasign --automatic iPhoneActivation_private.pem"
- Your iphone should popup a message telling you that it is Activated
- Now rename lockdownd to lockdownd.1.0.2 using WinSCP (This is in /usr/libexec)
- Now rename lockdownd.swap to lockdownd using WinSCP (This is in /usr/libexec)
- Run this command without the quotes "killall lockdownd" on putty
- Restart your phone
- And it should be unlocked by now

- Download iAsign (http://rapid$hare.com/files/64056361/iasign.zip CHANGE THE $ TO S IN THE LINK)
you may need this dlls to run iAsign http://rapid$hare.com/files/63351413/iasign-dlls.zip.html (change the $ sign for an S in the url)
- There is a file called iphoneactivation.pem under the /iAsign/bin/ folder of the zip you just downloaded
- Uploaded to your iphone, to the folder /System/Library/Lockdown
- Get Putty from here http://the.earth.li/~sgtatham/putty/.../x86/putty.exe
- Connect to your iPhone using putty (user: root password: alpine)
- Run this command without the quotes "killall lockdownd"
- Extract the iasign folder to your C:/ Drive (That folder can be found in this file >> http://d.turboupload.com/d/2098918/unlock111.zip.html)
- Open a command line in your pc (Start menu > Run > cmd)
- Navigate to the folder where you have iasign.exe (This means you need to point the command prompt to the iasign folder):
- Now run this command from the command line "iasign --automatic iPhoneActivation_private.pem"
- Your iphone should popup a message telling you that it is Activated
- Now rename lockdownd to lockdownd.1.0.2 using WinSCP (This is in /usr/libexec)
- Now rename lockdownd.swap to lockdownd using WinSCP (This is in /usr/libexec)
- Run this command without the quotes "killall lockdownd" on putty
- Restart your phone
- And it should be unlocked by now

MAC Full Unlock OOB 1.1.1 iPhones 100% WORKING
This is the Mac version of the unlock guide for 1.1.1 iPhones. Credits to Naximus from the Dev Team.

I am hoping this could help those who have OOB 1.1.1 (virgin) phone and would like it %100 fully unlocked. This is the first and original Mac version of the unlock. I have come back and updated this post to make the instructions as easy and as accurate as possible. When you have success please comeback to tell us, don't forget to rate this posting.
It brings me pleasure to finally contribute and give back to the forum. Since I signed up here I have taken so much and have had very little to give back.
STILL, USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. I DID THIS AND IT WORKED PERFECTLY FOR MY VIRGIN 1.1.1. I unlocked 3 iphones with it so far

Update to, or get, itunes to 7.4.x.
Process:
BEFORE DOING ANYTHING, make sure you kill, and I MEAN KILL, itunehelper. If for whatever resoan you needed to re-boot make sure you kill it again. Its a major pain if you don't. Keep the AT&T SIM in your phone until the last step.
Run independance 1.2.3
Go to Firmware tab. Click enter mode
Once you get a success message, your iphone will have a screen showing itunes icon with a cable to connect.
Close independance and run itunes. You have to do it in this sequence, so if ituens is already open it may not see the iphone.
you will get a msg from itunes saying that it detected iphone in recovery mode and that you must restrat iphone blah blah blah..click ok then close itunes
Make sure itunes is completly out of memory so if you still see it in the doc with an arrow to it, quit it .
restart itunes, u should get a message saying iphone in recovery or so and that it needs to be restored...
hit option (keyboard) and restore (itunes) choose your ipsw file to downgrade to 1.0.2 or whatever you have your iphone to be.
itunes will start its magic on your iphone. wait it will take a while, go make a coffer or something. If you already have a coffee then read on...
The idea is to downgrade your iphone first, we will then activate it, then jail break it, then install ssh on it, then wifi connect it, then get its ip for ssh future calls then prepare it for a special upgrade then ask itunes to do a 1.1.1 upgrade. When its upgraded it will be at our command again. At that point we will activate it. This last activation will also jail break it, install itunes, and enable youtube. We will then reinstall SSH on it,
Once the process finishes, you should get an error "The ipone "iphone" could not be restored" This is OK. Hit ok. Independance will fix it right up again. After you hit OK itunes will give an iphone in recovery mode click ok again and close itunes..
IPhone will show the triangle of death.
Make sure itunes is completly out of memory so if you still see it in the doc with an arrow to it, quit it .
Startup independance again now, its going to kick iphone back into mode, wait on independance as long as it says its connected or connecting but NOT if disconnected.
Once that happens you will see that the Activate Iphone button under the Activation tab is now enabled, go ahead and click it. Look for your firmware version and choose the folder that has Firmware folder within in and visible.
If at this point you get error entering recovery mode then close independance and try opening it again retrying this last step. This time it should be ok, if not then open itunes then close it and make sure its out of memory like last time (arrow in doc k gone) and try again. But it is important to open it first then close it if the error presisted in your case. This time it should work..wait for independance to finish and it will finish but you must trust it....
You should get a success message...when you do, go on to the jailbreak tab and click what else but jail break. Choose the same firmware folder you did last time. You may get the same recovery error, if you did, repeat process as before starting by closing then reopening independance...
Now go to the SSH tab in independance...click install ssh! follow the commands by independance now to install ssh. (basically rebooting twice). You should get a success window pop up..cool. ignore iphone errors.
Go to your wifi and set it up. Recored your ip once wifi is set up. Make sure you actually have a valid ip and configuration by trying safari and seeing a page like google come up.
Go to firmware tab in independance..click pre 1.1.1 button. Enter ur iphone ip and use dottie for the password. Out comes a message box from independance so follow its instructions please...keep independance running while you are doing so until i tell you to close it..ok?
Hit OK now but only after you are done with setting up the iphone in itunes as the independace box told you to do. Independace will do some work then pop a msg box saying success your iphone is ready to be upgraded. click ok, quit independace and go to itunes which should be in your dock and running...
HiT UPDATE NOT RESTORE. Wait forever...we are now upgrading back to 1.1.1. and restoring everything we lost in the downgrade. We will next activate and jail break in one step, but keep on waiting for now.
Once the wait is over ou should now get a message from itunes saying that iPhone has been updated..hit ok and quit itunes..remember ...out of memory.
Run independance, you should see at the bottom the status : Connected to iPhone. Firmware 1.1.1 . not activated. AFC connection . jailed. If you see anything else, sorry but you must start over gain.
Now Activate the iphone again. Easy stuff now right?
Re-install SSH easier stuff. You will have to reboot twice within the process of doing so.
When you get a sucess message you can then go to Cusomize tab. Choose Applications folder, Choose System. Click the tiny rounded add button. Browse to your downloaded anySIM location and choose it. You will be asked for ip and password. Enter IP you recorded, and use alpine for password. If you get the "fix it message say yes".
Close independance. You might have noticed that it came with a Folder named SpringBoardPatcher. Open it and run the app, once you see the logout line printed in console close it.
Put your SIM into the iphone (remove AT&Ts).
Click the anySIM icon you now see in your spring board.
Go to iphone Springboard. Run anySIM...wala, you are done...
Post unlock steps (Optional but recommenede):
I however recommend you remove anySIM first then remove SSH. Use independance to remove both. Look for anySIM in the User folder now not the System one. Thanks. ENJOY YOUR NOW 1.1.1 with its cool TVOut and ITunes features. ALso enjoy YouTube. This should now be working and activated for you. See ya soon and don't hesitate to ask questions..If I know I will answer, if I don't answer its becuase I don't know yet.
